Poste Italiane has launched an initiative to support new parents in the province of Agrigento, including the city of Sciacca. They are delivering a yellow box filled with high-quality baby products from Chicco and Fiocchi di Riso. The package contains personal care items, clothing for the first few months, bottles, and the required anti-abandonment device for cars. The gesture was well-received by new parents, including Michele, a 33-year-old postal worker in Sciacca. He and his wife were pleasantly surprised and grateful for the attention and support. This initiative has been successful, with over 250 requests since its launch for babies born or expected between July and August. The project aims to support families and parenthood, which is especially significant considering the declining birth rates in Italy. Poste Italiane has implemented various programs to support working parents, including the Active Parenthood Support Policy. These initiatives align with Poste Italiane’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) objectives and include a parenting program called “Lifeed” that focuses on developing essential skills for both personal and professional growth.
