Antonino Lauricella, also known as Scintilluni or Nino il bello, has died at the age of 69 in Palermo. Lauricella was involved in organized crime and was arrested in 2011 for drug trafficking, murder, mafia activities, and extortion. He was a member of Cosa Nostra and had risen through the ranks following the arrests of other mafia leaders. Lauricella had previously been arrested in 1996 for multiple murders and was able to evade capture for several years. He was eventually arrested in 2011 after being on the run since 2005.
