Mafia: Il figlio di Chinnici, di 40 anni, il Paese non lo ha dimenticato.
Giovanni Chinnici, son of the late judge Rocco, spoke at a seminar organized in Palermo 40 years after the mafia attack that took his father’s life. He stressed the significance of this day, stating that it demonstrates that the country hasn’t forgotten and that they are gathered where it all began. He mentioned his father’s understanding of the need for specialized judges to combat the increasingly powerful and subversive mafia. He also highlighted the importance of not forgetting the dramatic events that led to the creation of their legislation. The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, will also attend the event.
