Misteri strage Ustica: esperto svela negligenza francese nella scansione fondali

Leonardo Lecce, an expert in aviation who was part of the commission investigating the Ustica air disaster, claims that the French authorities inspected the wreckage without informing the Italian investigators. Lecce states that the French presence was not transparent and that there were inconsistencies from the beginning of the investigation. He also points out that the recovered pieces of the aircraft indicate that it did not disintegrate in mid-air, as some claim, but arrived intact at the point of impact with the water. Lecce further suggests that the French had radar data related to the incident that they did not share with the Italian authorities. He highlights the fact that an AWACS aircraft from NATO was in the vicinity of Corsica at the same time as the Ustica incident, indicating that the French had access to radar information that was not provided to the Italian investigators. Lecce also mentions that subsequent investigations were hindered when the NATO headquarters refused to decode radar data from Marsala.
