Recital di Lidia Schillaci in tour in Sicilia
Lucio Dalla’s pop music merges with the harmonious sounds of the Women Orchestra in a show that encompasses the expressive freedom typical of jazz. ‘Futura, donne per Lucio’ is the recital created by Lidia Schillaci, a singer-songwriter from Castellammare del Golfo, which will tour Sicily with the all-female symphony orchestra. The debut will be on Friday, July 28th, in piazza Stenditoio in Castellammare del Golfo, followed by Petralia Soprana (Sunday 30th), Aci Bonaccorsi (Sunday 6th August), and Piazza Armerina (Thursday 10th August). The show aims to highlight Lucio Dalla’s sensitivity and poetic lyrics through the talent of female artists. Fifteen of Dalla’s songs will be performed with new arrangements by Lidia Schillaci, Fabrizio Lamberti, Valter Sivilotti, Daniele Russo, and Salvatore Sabatino.
