Catania is planning to revamp its port to attract more cruise ships and luxury yachts. The goal is to modernize and revitalize the port infrastructure in Eastern Sicily and promote green and innovative practices. A total of €245 million has been allocated for infrastructure improvements in Augusta, and €150 million for Catania.
