Paura di sparatoria dopo lite in centro con bastoni

A fierce fight between two people has caused chaos in the center of Noto. Screams and loud blows terrified the residents, who initially feared a shooting was taking place. Dozens of calls were made to the emergency number 112, with the immediate intervention of the carabinieri who, however, ruled out the firing of gunshots.

Several videos posted on social media fueled the fear, but it turned out to be a brawl against a car: two brothers were involved, wielding clubs and large pieces of wood. One of them would have attacked the other’s car, repeatedly hitting it. Several witnesses have confirmed this version, and the carabinieri, moreover, did not find any bullet casings or other elements related to a possible shooting on the scene. Investigations are still ongoing to identify the people involved.
