Migranti Christmail, bimbo di sei mesi rimane senza genitori
Alessandra Teresi, a doctor and rescuer, had taken care of a young African migrant named Christmail after his mother drowned during their journey on a boat from Tunisia to Lampedusa. Christmail had been in the care of the women on the boat and had found a temporary family with Alessandra, her husband, and her son. However, a week after Christmail arrived, the police informed Alessandra that a judge had revoked her custody and that he would be sent to a protected facility. No explanation was given, and Alessandra believes it was due to errors in the custody procedure. The family has not been able to get any information on Christmail’s whereabouts and is concerned about his well-being. They believe that a stable home with his father is better than being in an orphanage.
