Investimenti giganteschi per opere ferroviarie in Sicilia, dice Webuild
Webuild Group’s construction projects in Sicily are progressing well, with 7 railway projects covering 200 kilometers of track and 175 kilometers of tunnels. A total of 19 Tbm machines will be used in the projects, with an investment of over 400 million euros. The latest Tbm has begun working on the Taormina-Giampilieri route. These projects, along with the Ragusa-Catania highway, will create 7,000 jobs and contribute to improving sustainable mobility on the island. The partnership between the Sicilian Region and Webuild aims to train young people for the workforce. President Schifani is confident in meeting project timelines and completing the strategic infrastructure plan for better transport accessibility.
