Another man, Giuseppe Farrazzano, is also involved in the case but has chosen a different legal path. Merlino allegedly shot Di Fede because he was in a relationship with his exy camera footage to piece together the sequence of events. It is worth noting that Di Fede was wanted by authorities and was later arrested by the mobile police unit due to a violation of his release conditions.
