Amira Aggius, a singer from Malta, won the eighth edition of the Hybla Music Contest, an international singing competition held in
Ragusa, Italy. The event featured young artists from various countries including Albania, Estonia, Kosovo, Romania, and Malta. Aggius was awarded the Grand Prix Senior, while David Kerri from Albania won the Grand Prix Junior. The jury, led by Marco Vito, had the difficult task of evaluating the participants due to their high level of talent. The competition also awarded prizes in different categories, such as Baby, 7-9 years old, 10-12 years old, 13-15 years old, and 16 years old and up. Special awards were given for opera, best original song, and folk music. The event was supported by the Ragusa municipal administration and will continue to grow in future editions.
