Rocco Chinnici, innovator of the modern judiciary and creator of the anti-mafia task force, was remembered on the 40th anniversary of his assassination. A seminar was organized by the Rocco Chinnici Foundation, with the presence of President Sergio Mattarella, to discuss his work and the Italian and European anti-mafia legislation. Floral tributes were also laid at the site of the attack.
