Paolo Todaro, a member of the academic senate and secretary of the Fgu Gilda University, has requested a verification of the reimbursements made to the rector of
Messina University, Salvatore Cuzzocrea, totaling over two million euros between 2019 and 2023. Todaro has sent the request to the College of Auditors, the university’s general director, and the ministers of Economy and University. The letter aims to shed light on the substantial reimbursements and ensure transparency and accountability in the use of university funds.
