Marcello Pellitteri, a renowned drummer, has been awarded the special international Marineo prize, given by the jury each year to a personality of notable cultural prestige. This is the highest recognition for a son of Sicily who, with his talent, has captured the attention of the public and become an ambassador of Italian culture in America. In addition, awards were given in various categories to authors such as Luciana Salvucci, Anna Maria Tamburini, Serena Lao, and Paolo Salomone. The ceremony will take place on September 3rd in Marineo.
