Naviganti disorientati: timonieri in carrozzina sbarcano sulle coste del Mar Ionio

I Timonieri Sbandati Marco Rossato and Igor Macera are currently sailing in the Giro d’Italia a Vela, a sailing race around Italy, in an effort to raise awareness about accessibility for disabled people in nautical structures and environmental protection. They are currently in Leuca (Brindisi) and will soon leave the Adriatic Sea to navigate the Ionian Sea and finally arrive in Genoa in September. The duo is using Tornavento, a special boat that is almost entirely self-sustainable in terms of energy. They have encountered various challenges along the way but have been able to navigate autonomously. Several Italian companies have supported their journey.
