With a completely dedicated stand, where it will be possible to taste the wines of the producing companies, the Consorzio vini DOC Sicilia arrives in Verona for the 54th edition of Vinitaly which, with more than 4 thousand exhibiting companies, is scheduled from 10 to 13 April 2022. The Consorzio Vini DOC Sicilia opens to visitors for the first time with its own stand on the occasion of the celebration of its first ten years of life. Landing and showcase for wine producers, an indispensable scenario for buyers, Vinitaly in its program welcomes some appointments by the Consortium, a leading reality in the international wine scene that closed 2021 with a production of over 95 million bottles. "This edition of Vinitaly is an opportunity to present and deepen, in an entirely dedicated space, some of the activities of the Consortium for the protection of DOC Sicily wines - underlines the President Antonio Rallo - aimed at promoting, protecting and projecting the DOC Sicily denomination into the future, increasingly recognized as a guarantee of quality and as a symbol not only of the region, but of the same Made in Italy production in Italy and abroad. This year the Consortium celebrates its first ten years of activity, ten years during which its aim has always been to give value to the quality of Sicilian wines ". The meetings at the stand will have as their object particular focuses dedicated to the most representative grape varieties of the island, namely Nero D'Avola, Grillo, Lucido and also a focus on Sicilian rosé wines. Furthermore, some afternoon appointments, hosted in the Conference Area of the Sicily Region, will be dedicated to projects, initiatives and activities that the Consortium is carrying out, starting with the presentation of the analysis "Image, perceived and perspectives of DOC Sicily in Italy", commissioned to GPF Inspiring Research, a leading company in market research: a survey of the perceived image, brand and experience of the Sicilia DOC and of the Consortium itself with relative horizons, especially aimed at the consumer of 2030.
